Spiders activly avoid the consumption and often set butterflies free.

Monarch butterflies are actually poisonous to eat and when the butterflies are caterpillars, they eat from milkweed plants, which are poisonous, so they basically utilize the poison from when they ate those milkweeds, and thus this is entirely possible in the real world, a spider getting poisoned by a butterfly.🍆🦋🦋
